Moog, one of Gloucestershire’s biggest aerospace employers, is expanding its specialist engineering team at its flagship Tewkesbury smart factory – with applications now open for its senior manufacturing engineers.

The new engineering role offers the chance to work on complex commercial aircraft components within one of the county’s most advanced manufacturing environments.

Moog is recruiting a senior manufacturing engineer specialising in sliding head lathe machining to join its Commercial Aircraft Group in Tewkesbury.

The role focuses on developing and improving machining processes for intricate aerospace components, supporting everything from new product introduction through to manufacturing optimisation and continuous improvement.

About the role

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production and supply chain teams, using CAD/CAM software including Siemens NX and Partmaker to develop manufacturing strategies and tooling solutions.

The role also includes mentoring engineers and technicians, making it ideal for someone looking to take on greater technical leadership responsibilities.
