Young people from Gloucestershire invited to audition for new film

The casting company behind Netflix hit Top Boy and Oscar-winning film Jojo Rabbit is looking for young people from Gloucestershire to star in a new film.

Under-18s from Gloucestershire have an exciting opportunity to star in a new film, with open auditions being held this April 2024.

Girls aged from 15 to 17 and boys aged from 11 to 16 are being sought out to star in a new feature film — and no previous acting experience is required.

Children from all over the West Country are invited to attend the casting call on º£½ÇÉçÇø 13 April, at the Redwell Centre in Gloucester, near Matson Park.

The event will take place from 12pm to 4pm — with applicants having a quick chat with a casting director — not a scary audition!

Des Hamilton Casting is a BAFTA-award winning casting company that specialises in finding new talent who have never acted before. It has cast stars for well-known projects, such as the Netflix hit series Top Boy, Oscar-winning film Jojo Rabbit and ITV's Breathº£½ÇÉçÇø.

Successful applicants will be paid for their roles, with shooting set to start in Bristol later this year.

Those wanting to try out should just turn up at the venue — there's no need to book; and under 16s should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
