The Cyber Scheme, headquartered in Cheltenham's Eagle Tower, has unveiled its new Accredited Company Programme to validate the credibility of organisations delivering cyber security services across the UK.

The initiative launched at CYBERUK in Glasgow this month, dubbed the UK government's flagship cyber security conference, and is open to organisations of all sizes.

The programme recognises companies which invest in verified skills, continuous professional development and high standards of service. Accredited organisations will also gain access to procurement frameworks that require a professionalised cyber workforce.

Zeshan Sattar, director at The Cyber Scheme, said: ‘Our accreditation programme is built on the principle that trustworthy services come from proven professional competence.

‘The programme assures a company’s services by confirming its workforce capability aligns with the UK Cyber Security Council’s chartered cyber security professional standards.

‘Professionalisation also doesn’t stop with individuals. Skills, standards and continuous development must be embedded within the organisations delivering these services.’

The Cyber Scheme has a track record of connecting industry, government and academia to build a robust cyber workforce. As the largest licensed body for the UK Cyber Security Council, it assesses and recommends individuals for professional titles from associate to chartered level across multiple specialisms.

Accredited companies will benefit from increased visibility in regulated frameworks, opportunities to shape professional benchmarks and access to domestic and international markets. The programme also supports organisations in attracting, retaining and developing professionally registered talent through additional training.

Sattar added: ‘Our accredited company programme isn’t just another badge, it’s a strategic advantage which builds trust and confidence to raise the bar and strengthen resilience across the sector, together.’
