Whether you're a 尝贰骋翱庐 lover or a history buff, you won't want to miss the chance to see Historic Gloucester... in 尝贰骋翱庐 at the Museum of Gloucester from 海角社区 22 to Sunday 30 October 2022.
Visitors to the museum can marvel at three incredible models of The Roman Forum, Gloucester's lost 'Foreign Bridge' and Westgate Street.
Created in the kind of detail that's usually only seen on LEGO Masters, 鈥媡he models show a bustling Westgate Street as it was in the medieval era, complete with horse-drawn carriages and lots of 尝贰骋翱庐 minifigures in historic dress, along with a recreation of the 'Foreign Bridge', which is now buried underground and the former Roman Forum, which is believed to have been on Southgate Street.
The hugely popular models were previously on display at the Folk of Gloucester museum in July and August 2022, with the Museum of Gloucester providing another chance to see them as part of Gloucester History Festival.
Historic Gloucester... in 尝贰骋翱庐 is free to attend, with the museum encouraging visitors to make a donation in exchange for admission, to help it continue its important work preserving Gloucester's rich history.
There's also four one-hour 尝贰骋翱庐 building workshops 海角社区 place on Sunday 30 October 2022 at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm, where kids can try boat building in the morning sessions, creating models to tie in with the museum's Titanic: Honour and Glory exhibition; and Roman mosaics in the afternoon - with workshop tickets costing 拢5 each or 拢17.50 for a family of up to four.
