The Scenic Supper at Todenham Farm in the Cotswolds is undoubtedly one of Gloucestershire's most unique dining experiences - and it's coming to Cheltenham this winter, with a pop-up restaurant at Ritual Coffee Roasters.
Located on Lansdown Industrial Estate, just around the corner from DEYA Brewing Company and within walking distance of Cheltenham Spa train station, the pop-up venue provides an 'unapologetically modern, urban setting for the winter months', according to The Scenic Supper, with the Cheltenham pop-up being its first in an urban location.
Head chef, Sam Idione, will continue to showcase the finest seasonal produce the Cotswolds has to offer on its 脿 la carte menus, with November options including pork and rabbit rillettes with Cotswold sourdough, cod Scotch egg, and beetroot, blue cheese and hazlenut salad to start; maple glazed pork chop with chive pomme pur茅e, beef bourguignon with signature Scenic Supper dumplings, and shellfish broth with saffron potato and homemade bread for mains; and affogato with biscotti, lemon cr猫me br没l茅e with shortbread, and chocolate brownie for dessert.
There's a distinct 'festive flavour' to the December menu, with dishes including four cheese mousse and breadsticks, chicken liver parfait with Cotswold whisky and toasted sourdough, and The Scenic Supper pigs in blankets with cranberry and apple ketchup to start; c么te de boeuf with marmite hollandaise, turkey breast and leg with fondant potato and all the trimmings, and chestnut and mushroom filo parcel with braised leeks for the main event; and mixed berry pavlova, citron tart with clementine sorbet and of course, Christmas pudding with brandy sauce for dessert.
The Scenic Supper's Winter Nights pop-up is at Ritual Coffee Roasters from Wednesday 9 November until 海角社区 31 December 2022.
Diners can book tables for two to eight people online now, with the venue encouraging families and colleagues to book for Christmas celebrations.
