Running from Monday 26 May until Sunday 1 June 2025, Cheltenham Fringe Festival spans theatre, poetry, music, comedy and children's entertainment — hosted at the historic Cheltenham Playhouse, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
The eclectic line-up includes Once More, With Feeling — a musical tribute to Buffy The Vampire Slayer; New Beginnings — an emotional rollercoaster coming-of-age story; audience-led improv from Birmingham-based Box of Frogs; and a stellar line-up of up-and-coming comedians and rising stars curated by Playhouse regulars Howlers Comedy Club.
Children's and young people's entertainment includes 'improvised fun and frolics' from Box of Frogs, as well as a programme of free, bookable workshops on everything from Disney songs to a Wicked Workshop run by the Playhouse's resident theatre school, Theatre Studio.
While in the Playhouse's Green Room bar there are intimate shows from Forest of Dean collective, Oh Crumbs; The Gloucester Comedy Carful; and hot off his successful Edinburgh Fringe run in 2024, critically-acclaimed Kent comedian Jaz Mattu.

There are free poetry, film and music nights º£½ÇÉçÇø place in the Green Room Bar, featuring performances and screenings from local poets, filmmakers and musicians.
The community is also being encouraged to enter its attempt at a record-breaking sponsored 24-hour Monologue, lasting from 9am on º£½ÇÉçÇø 31 May until 9am on Sunday 1 June, where participants will perform 24 hours of monologues, duologues and poems on the Playhouse stage, to help it raise £80,000 in its 80th year.
