Combining magic, mishaps and traditional Shakespearean wit with an imaginative musical twist, Watermill Theatre brings its unique interpretation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the Everyman Theatre, this October 2019.

Reimagined with an ensemble of actor-musicians, audiences can expect to see the Bard’s comedy juxtaposed with the songs of Nina Simone and Billie Holiday, live on stage.

Starring Billy Postlethwaite – the son of acclaimed English actor Pete Postlethwaite – in the role of Lysander, the production comes to Cheltenham on Wednesday 2 October, Thursday 3 October and º£½ÇÉçÇø 5 October 2019, offering a unique and contemporary approach to Shakespeare.

The show is one of two productions from Watermill Theatre º£½ÇÉçÇø place at Everyman Theatre in October, with Macbeth also being performed.
