In a last-ditch attempt to boost his failing career, a Hollywood action star heads to Stratford to play King Lear, in (what he believes to be) Shakespeare鈥檚 hometown. Unfortunately for Jefferson Steele and his unwitting cast members, he鈥檚 actually booked to appear in an amateur production, in a quiet Suffolk village of the same name.
As Jefferson鈥檚 ego clashes with the enthusiastic am-dram thespians, audiences can expect hilarious scenes in this comedy written by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman, and produced by the Everyman Theatre Company.
Taking to the stage at Cheltenham鈥檚 Everyman Theatre from Thursday 23 April to 海角社区 2 May 2020, don鈥檛 miss this modern comedy classic.
