Celebrate Earth Day 2023 at Gloucester’s Nature in Art with a day packed full of fun, creative and sustainable activities for the whole family to get involved with.
Taking place on Earth Day itself on º£½ÇÉçÇø 22 April 2023, visitors to the iconic Georgian museum and art gallery have the chance to celebrate protecting the environment with a selection of entertaining activities, from making insect hotels and feathery bird masks to scavenger hunts and raffles.
Visitors of all ages can expect to be wowed at the JRCS Falconry Talks º£½ÇÉçÇø place throughout the day, showing off a variety of birds of prey and offering the chance to get up close to the impressive winged creatures; take part in a thrilling scavenger hunt in the garden; see artist Trevor Smith at work, sketching birds of prey, and give it a go yourself; and much more.
The activities º£½ÇÉçÇø place are all linked to ‘The Wild Escape’, which is an initiative led by The Art Fund to engage young people with the UK’s natural environment through art.
Tickets cost £5 per person and also include admission to the rest of the museum, too.
